Don’t I have to be fit to do CrossFit?

In a word, NO! 😅

Having to be fit to start CrossFit is like cleaning the house before your cleaner comes or emptying the wheelie bin the day before the rubbish gets collected. Ever done that? No, of course not!

And forget the CrossFit documentaries on Netflix – that would be like seeing Mo Farrah run a marathon and deciding not to go for a jog because you can’t run at his pace 🤔

If you want to improve your health and fitness, it only makes sense that you START with a programme that is proven to be effective for developing truly comprehensive fitness.

Think of CrossFit as the tried and tested, fully MOT’d and insured vehicle 🚗 that will get you from wherever you are right now to wherever you want to be in three, six, nine or 12 months time 📈

The absolute beauty of CrossFit is that there are regressions and progressions for everyone. We have members in their teens, members in their 60s and many ages in between. We have members who are brand new to any sort of exercise, members who have backgrounds in other sports and members who are experienced CrossFitters. But everyone can work together in the same class, doing a workout level that is right for them 💪

We know it’s scary to take that first step and try something new, but getting started is much easier than you might think. All of our group fitness members start by completing our 35-Day KickStart which includes five PT sessions and 10 group fitness classes. 

In your PT sessions you get to assess your current level of fitness and learn some of the fundamental movements which will crop up in the group fitness classes. With your coach’s full attention you will learn to move effectively and safely, making sure that the intensity of the session is tailored perfectly to you. Once your five PT sessions are completed you can join the classes which have a maximum of eight people, so you will still get plenty of coaching attention and support.
